Kaitlyn was full of ideas to save this planet. She gave food to orphaned baby raccoons. She brought-in and hand-fed a baby squirrel that wasn’t doing well. (It bit her and she learned a valuable lesson). She refused to use plastic if at all possible, she’d reuse anything you can imagine, and her bread and butter? Well that was making produce bags.
She would give them to anyone that wanted one, started her own business to produce as many as possible (and reduce our reliance on plastic) and when it was suggested by her loving partner that it was possible she could maybe potentially think about upping the price so she wasn’t losing money on every sale, her response was that the bags needed to be as cheap as possible because “I’m not trying to get rich, I’m trying to save the planet!”
If you are also trying to save the planet, we’d love to have you join the Conserve for Kaitlyn facebook group to share any green tricks you have up your sleeve.
