Join us for the 5th annual K&G Cleanup. We will be spending a few hours picking up trash to clean up part of this world that Kaitlyn was so determined to save, and to teach Grady about.

IMPORTANT DETAILS:

LOCATION: 9600 Blue River Road, KC, MO 64131. This is an area with a bunch of trash adjacent to a 3&2 ball field complex. It is also adjacent to the Blue River. Not much traffic but lots of litter. Traveling East on Bannister from Troost, you reach the exit and go down to the location.

GLOVES: Please bring your own, we will have some medical type gloves, but you will want something more sturdy like a garden glove. We will also have hand sanitizer.

BAGS: Provided by the City of Kansas City

WATER: Please bring a reusable water bottle to refill at one of our water stations.

If you would like to participate from afar, that’s great! Just scout out some areas in your community that are routinely littered with trash, get a group of friends/family to make a morning of it, wear gloves, and get some trash bags from your city (most will provide them free of charge).
